We grew up in the East End, now

we can barely afford to live here.

The Magnolia Fund was formed to invest in real estate within the East End of Houston, Texas. The goal is to build a collective of investors that care deeply about preserving the community and culture of the East End.

  • The Culture

From Guadalupe Plaza to the Ship Channel,
the East End is pure Mexican-American culture.

The East End is home to one of the largest concentrations of Mexican-Americans in Houston. With its proximity to plentiful jobs at the ship-channel, railroads as well as the cotton and textile industries, Mexican-American and immigrant families have been putting down roots in the area since the early 1900s. Over the decades the area has been shaped by the flavors, sounds and the art of Latino and Mexican-American culture.
